Dave Currie

Dave CurriePrincipal of The Currie Firm. Dave has been a trial lawyer for over 30 years focusing in the areas of Plaintiff personal injury and contract-related litigation, and Insurance Defense. He has been lead counsel in over 100 jury trials in the state and federal courts of Georgia and Florida. He is a graduate of Georgia State University and holds his J.D. degree from the University of Georgia School of Law.

John Edwards

John EdwardsAn Assistant District Attorney in the Cobb Judicial Circuit since 1989, he holds his J.D. degree from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law. In 1985, he began a prosecution career working in the Fulton County Solicitors Office. Instructor since 2008.

Kathleen A. Fisher

With her J.D. degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, she has published five textbooks that have been adopted for college and university legal studies courses. Recognized for excellence in teaching by the National Center for Paralegal Training, she is a certified online facilitator and developer. Instructor since 1986.

Jeffery Gaba

Jeffery GabaPractice group leader of Gregory, Doyle, Calhoun & Rogers, LLC’s Government & real Estate practice, focusing in the areas of commercial and residential transactions, right-of-way acquisitions, condemnations, zoning, and local governmental law. His practical experience includes in-house counsel for one of Georgia’s largest thrift institutions, staff attorney for a governmental entity, and currently serves as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia.

John Gunn

John GunnMr. Gunn is the founder of The Gunn Firm, P.C. He has been ranked by Thompson Reuters as one of Georgia’s “SuperLawyers” for three years in a row. Mr. Gunn was identified for his leadership in the family law legal community in Georgia Trend Magazine’s “Legal Elite.”

Mr. Gunn has served as the President of the Family Law section of the Cobb Bar Association, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Cobb County Bar Association and on the Board of the Cobb Justice Foundation. He has been appointed by the Superior Courts of Georgia as an expert in child custody matters through his work as a court appointed Guardian Ad Litem.

Mr. Gunn has coached and evaluated attorneys in actual and mock trials for more than half a decade assisting them in developing trial advocacy skills. He has co-authored a number of Georgia appellate briefs including one successfully argued before the Georgia Supreme Court.

Mr. Gunn is an award winning aerobatic pilot and has participated as a competitor and as an Aerobatic Judge for the International Aerobatics Club. Mr. Gunn is a federally licensed Instructor Pilot.

Dana Norman

Dana NormanAssistant DA Paulding Judicial Circuit, Cobb County and Georgia Bar member. Formerly, the Director of the Governor’s Office of Consumer Affairs Legal & Investigative Division, Assistant DA Cobb Judicial Circuit (10 yrs.), and attorney with the Georgia Court of Appeals (15 yrs.). He has a Doctor of Law from Emory School of Law. Instructor since 2005.

Kim Ralich

Paralegal at LoRusso Law Firm, P.C., Atlanta, Georgia specializing in personal injury, medical malpractice and police officer disciplinary issues. Prior to working at LoRusso Law Firm, I was a paralegal in the United States Marine Corps, retiring after 21 years of service. I received my Bachelors of Science in Paralegal Studies, Summa Cum Laude, from Kaplan University. I am a member of the Cobb County Legal Professionals Association (CCLPA).

Cheryl Richardson

Cheryl RichardsonCheryl Richardson is the Principal of Richardson Legal Services, PC in Marietta. She received her J.D. from the Washington College of Law of the American University in Washington D.C. in 1997. She also has a B.A. in History with a concentration in Asian Studies from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York.

From 1984 through 2004, Ms. Richardson served in the United States Army in Army Intelligence. Her duty stations include various stations in the United States, Korea and Kuwait. Ms. Richardson was deployed to Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Ms. Richardson retired in 2004 as a Lieutenant Colonel.

After retiring from the military, Ms. Richardson was initially employed at Accountants, Tax Consultants & Lawyers, where she spearheaded the firm’s Elder Law Section, as well as working on simple to complex estate planning, probate, business incorporations and contracting and trust drafting and administration. Ms. Richardson’s current practice focuses on Estate Planning and Probate, Business Law and Elder Law. Ms. Richardson is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Cobb County Bar Association. Ms. Richardson is also licensed to practice in Hawaii.

Ms. Richardson has lived in Marietta for over six years and is very active in the community. She currently serves on the City of Marietta Planning Commission representing Marietta’s Ward 1.

Victor P. Valmus
