Grade requirements have been established to safely facilitate age-appropriate activities. Grades listed are for the upcoming year, i.e. the grade category 1-3, is for any camper who has recently completed grades K-2. For Spring Break Camps students should be registered in classes based on the grade level they are currently attending as of April, 2017.
Campers should dress for comfort and safety; and in clothing that may become stained (art/science camps). Campers should wear athletic shoes (no flip-flops). Campers are discouraged from wearing jewelry or bringing items of value.
Lunch and Snacks
Campers are required to bring a lunch, beverages, and snacks each day. Each camp group will attend a 30-minute, supervised lunch period. Neither refrigerators nor microwaves are available for campers to use. Beverage and snack machines are available to accept coins, bills, and debit/credit cards.

There are no scholarships or financial aid available at this time.
Drop Off Times
Check in for classes will begin at 8:45am each day, if you need to drop your camper off earlier, please register them for the Before Care option beginning at 7:30am each day. No campers should be dropped off and left unattended. Parents or guardians must drop off students in person each morning.
Pick Up Times
All campers must be picked up between 3:00pm and 3:15pm, or 6:00pm if in extended care. If your camper is not in extended care and is picked up after 3:15pm, we reserve the right to charge a late pick up fee of $60, per camper.
Sign In/Sign Out Procedures
For the safety of each child, all campers must be signed in and signed out each day. Parents and guardians are required to walk their camper to and from the classroom, daily. Please be prepared to show photo identification to a staff member.
Before Care is offered weekly from 7:30am- 9:00am if you want to leave your campers with us before the 8:45am check in time each day. We do not prorate Before Care by the day.
Extended care is offered weekly, 3:00pm-6:00pm. We do not prorate extended care by the day. Parents and guardians should report to the Registration Desk to show photo identification and sign out their camper.
Lost and Found
At check in or check out inquire about the location of lost and found. Please label all of your camper’s belongings. Lost and found items not claimed after one month will be donated to charity. Kennesaw State University Continuing & Professional Education is not responsible for camper’s possessions that are damaged, lost or stolen.
Illness and Injury
If a camper becomes ill or injured at camp, our staff will contact a parent or guardian to pick him/her up. For the protection of all campers and staff, any child believed to have an infectious illness should not attend camp. If your camper is injured at camp, our staff will take necessary measures to administer first aid or obtain medical care. (Please note our Summer U staff is CPR/basic first aid certified.)
We do not store or administer medication to campers. Campers may bring medications with them. Please notify a camp staff member that your camper has medication.
