Students work hands-on in the kitchen with a team of accomplished professional chefs who will provide the tools needed to succeed in the restaurant, hospitality and catering industries. July 25. 6:15 - 7:00 p.m. The new Web Design Certificate program is set up to teach you the four D's of Web Design: Discovery, Design, Development and Deployment. Module 1 - Discovery: This module will expose the students to design principles, usability, the Web development process, and file basics. This module lays the foundation for the entire course. Module 2 - Design: The successful student is expected in this module to begin to apply the design principles learned in Module 1 to Web page layout. The successful student accomplishes this through a demonstrated ability to code in HTML and CSS. Module 3 - Development: Though HTML and CSS provide the foundation for much of the Web, modern websites interactively engage visitors. In this module, the successful student uses JavaScript and Flash to provide such interactivity.
