Interested in teaching English in this country or abroad? The one language spoken by more people worldwide is English, and there is a growing need for good teachers.

  • Some of the features that make our program unique:
  • Our instructors all have Master-level and have instructed in ESL classrooms
  • KSU Center campus conducts adult ESL classes where you can observe
  • Volunteer opportunities are available in the ESL Study Hall Center to practice your skills

Engage yourself in an enriching, multicultural atmosphere while learning the fundamentals of teaching English. Three courses of 40 hours each make up the program. Classes meet on six Saturdays:

We recommend you review the TESOL Introduction for New Students before you begin the testing and application process. 
The English Grammar Proficiency test is used to determine program eligibility. To take the test from a computer,
