Kennesaw State University’s Department of Statistics and Analytical Sciences will hold its sixth annual “KSU R Day” to celebrate undergraduate and graduate statistics students’ work in R and serve as a regional meeting for the R community. This event will feature poster presentations of students’ R-based research and four speakers discussing analytics and the use of R in their organizations.
KSU R Day will introduce our students to regional R users, allow them to begin building their professional network, and give them a look at real-world careers available to them in analytics. Students will have the opportunity to discuss collaborative projects with local businesses. This event provides R users from across the region with an opportunity to meet students at all levels who are considering careers in advanced analytics. KSU R Day is sponsored by our COMMAND level sponsors Southern Company© and Crown & Caliber©, and the CODE level sponsors Crawford & Company, LexisNexis, and JRi Solutions.
This year’s event will be held at KSU Center on Friday, November 17, 2017. KSU R Day begins with breakfast and coffee at 8:30 am and concludes shortly after noon.
