Cheryl Richardson is the Principal of Richardson Legal Services, PC in Marietta. She received her J.D. from the Washington College of Law of the American University in Washington D.C. in 1997. She also has a B.A. in History with a concentration in Asian Studies from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York.
From 1984 through 2004, Ms. Richardson served in the United States Army in Army Intelligence. Her duty stations include various stations in the United States, Korea and Kuwait. Ms. Richardson was deployed to Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Ms. Richardson retired in 2004 as a Lieutenant Colonel.
After retiring from the military, Ms. Richardson was initially employed at Accountants, Tax Consultants & Lawyers, where she spearheaded the firm’s Elder Law Section, as well as working on simple to complex estate planning, probate, business incorporations and contracting and trust drafting and administration. Ms. Richardson’s current practice focuses on Estate Planning and Probate, Business Law and Elder Law. Ms. Richardson is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Cobb County Bar Association. Ms. Richardson is also licensed to practice in Hawaii.
Ms. Richardson has lived in Marietta for over six years and is very active in the community. She currently serves on the City of Marietta Planning Commission representing Marietta’s Ward 1.
